The City of Columbia Falls Planning and Zoning Jurisdiction and Zoning Districts can be found on the Flathead County GIS website, interactive mapping application and clicking on Layer List/Zoning, Zoning Use will give you the Zoning District reference, such as CB-2 (General Business), adding the  Zoning  Districts will show you the boundary of the Columbia Falls City-County Planning and Zoning Jurisdiction. If the property is within the Columbia Falls boundary, all land use applications will be administered by the Columbia Falls Planning and Zoning office. Title 18 of the Columbia Falls Code has complete descriptions of each zoning district including Permitted Uses, Conditional Uses, Special Conditions, Lot Dimensions, Set Backs and Lot coverage. Title 18 also includes the Parking requirements for each District and type of use.
