Wastewater Treatment Plant Operator

The City of Columbia Falls is accepting applications for the position of Public Works Wastewater Treatment Plant Operator. This position performs a variety of semi-skilled and skilled technical and maintenance work in the operation, maintenance and repair of wastewater collection and treatment facilities and systems.  

Applicant must possess or be able to obtain a Montana Commercial Driver’s License; Certification as a Montana Wastewater System Operator Class 1C. Preferred applicants should have at least one year of wastewater utility, or any equivalent combination of education and experience.

This is a full-time position, with an excellent benefit package. Entry wage is $21.45 per hour, increased pay DOE and certifications.
