PUBLIC WORKS WATER OPERATOR

 The City of Columbia Falls is accepting applications for the position of Public Works Water Operator. This position performs variety of technical and maintenance work primarily in the operation, maintenance and repair of water distribution facilities and systems but also in support of other public works divisions including wastewater, streets maintenance, and parks. Applicant must possess or be able to obtain a Montana State DEQ Water System Operator’s Certification Class 2A and 3B minimum, an ABPA backflow preventer tester certification and a CDL. Experience in a public works or construction setting is required. Entry starting wage is $21.45 per hour, increased pay DOE and certifications, with excellent benefits.
